Orland Park Girl Scouts Provide Helping Hands

Orland Park Girl Scouts Provide Helping Hands

On Thursday, Dec 6th, Orland Park Girl Scout Troops, 60179 and 60154 eagerly met at the Orland Township to provide their favorite holiday community service, the annual holiday food sorting for the township's "Holiday Program".

The two troops donated 219 non-perishable food items as well as providing the helping hands that are necessary to sort and stack the pallets full of cans, boxes and bags of food the will fill the holiday baskets given to the families in need from the food pantry each year.

The two troops have made this an annual community service for the last three years and were very excited about being able to once again help families in need.
