A Tinley Park woman who pleaded guilty to ripping off her employer, stealing more than $770,000, was sentenced Tuesday to seven years in prison.

Rita Schinske, 57, was a 10-year-employee of Occupational and Hand Therapy in Orland Park, where as office manager she wrote herself more than 600 checks over severn years, depositing them into her own bank account, reports Sun-Times Media. 

The clinic's owners discovered her thievery after an audit was done on the company's books. She was arrested in January 2012.

7 years is nothing- that is her being paid $110,000 a year- which she probably would never have made in salary- I hope they make her sell her stuff and pay back the company

REALLY!! $110,000 A yr. and she was stealing, ridiculous how many of us are getting by and not even making close to that salary,7 yrs., is nothing!!!LOOKS LIKE A BIRD WAS IN HER HAND AND BIT IT!!! She wasn't appreciative to have a decent salary, some people are just plain ignorant and stupid, how could you jeopardize everything for stealing and GREED!!
