Alleged Drunken Driver Crammed Mouth Full of Doritos: Blotter

Outstanding OP Warrant

Conor P. McCormick, 22, of the 15400 block of Raintree Drive, Orland Park, was arrested on an outstanding Orland Park warrant for failing to appear on a possession of a controlled substance charge. Police had talked with McCormick regarding a theft investigation. He was arrested at about 4:15 p.m. in the 15300 block of Raintree Drive on the outstanding warrant and was due on April 15 in Bridgeview court.

Arrest Warrant

John J. Greenan, 43, of the 11800 block of Cormoy Lane, Orland Park, was arrested on an outstanding Tinley Park warrant for a traffic violation, according to a report. Police were investigating a deceptive practice call when they ran across Greenan at about 4:10 p.m. in the 11800 block of Cormoy Lane. He was arrested and turned over to Tinley Park police.

Suspended License Warrant

Dennis J. Ryce, Jr. 24, of the Calumet Avenue, Chicago, was arrested on an outstanding Orland Park warrant for driving with a suspended license, according to a report. Ryce was taken at about 3:54 a.m. from the Crestwood Police Department to the Orland Park Police Department. He also has an outstanding warrant from Pike County.

A Mouth Full Of Doritos

Ronell A. Harris, 36, of the 15600 block of Clifton Park Avenue, Markham, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use and driving without insurance, according to a report. Police spotted a white Chrysler at about 11:31 p.m. cross the median and stopped it near the intersection of 104th Avenue and 179th Street. The driver, Harris, told police he had a couple of beers. Police said it was difficult to understand Harris as he had a mouth full of Doritos. An officer reported smelling a moderate smell of alcohol coming from the car. He was arrested after taking field sobriety tests and refusing to take a breath test. Harris is due on May 7 in Bridgeview court.
