Former Orland Firefighter Now Facing Pornography Charges

Prosecutors filed new charges of aggravated possession of child porn against former Orland Fire Protection District firefighter Dean Milenkovic, 46, in October, according to court records.


A former Orland Fire Protection District firefighter is now facing two pending cases, after felony charges related to possession of child pornography were made against him.

It was not immediately clear whether the cases against Dean Milenkovic, 46, are related. Calls to Michael D. Krejci, the attorney listed in court records for Milenkovic's first case, were not immediately returned Friday.

In the most recent case, Milenkovic has been charged with two counts of aggravated possession of child pornography. Court records show Milenkovic appeared in court on Oct. 17 on those charges and was given a $200,000 bond.

Milenkovic has three felony counts against him in the first case. . However, those charges now include manufacturing of harmful material via webcam and two counts of solicitation of a child.

According to police, Milenkovic struck up online sex chats with a person he believed was a 13-year-old Iowa girl, but was actually chatting with an undercover cop in Iowa. His bond was set at $30,000 in that case and he pleaded not guilty to those charges on Aug. 2.

Milenkovic resigned from the district on July 17. Records from the Cook County Department of Corrections, and the Illinois Department of Corrections, do not show that he is currently in custody.

He is scheduled to be back in court on Nov. 27 in Judge Colleen Ann Hyland's courtroom for the first case. On the latest charges, Milkenkovic will appear in Judge Patrick T. Rogers' courtroom on Nov. 7. Both cases are being tried in Bridgeview.
