In his request for a lower bail, Reynolds’ attorney stated Reynolds lives in Hinsdale with his wife, who is also a teacher and that original $250,000 bail was oppressive given his salary of less than $50,000 per year, according to court records.
The filing also states the encounter with the 17-year-old student was “voluntary.” Reynolds is due in court early next month.
