Stay on His Good List and Assist a Family in Need at Orland Township's Bingo with Santa

The Orland Township Food Pantry is hosting Bingo with Santa on Friday, Nov. 12, at Orland Township, 14807 S. Ravinia Ave. Doors open at 5 p.m. and bingo is played from 6-8 p.m. Ticket prices for the event are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger.

The price of a ticket, which also doubles as a tax-deductible donation, includes entrance to the event, four bingo cards, a hot dog, chips, a beverage, dessert and raffle prizes. Tickets can be purchased at the Orland Township office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

All ticket proceeds go toward Holiday Program 2010, which provides clothing and food to residents in need during the holiday season. Supervisor Paul O'Grady, who has overseen many Food Pantry events this year, including presentations by Meijer and Jewel-Osco, encourages all residents to attend the fundraiser.

"The Food Pantry holiday program is irreplaceable for those receiving assistance but they're not the only ones who benefit," said O'Grady. "By attending Bingo with Santa, residents can do their part, help out other residents in need and have a really great time with the family. It's a win-win."
