There are so many amazing people that make up St. Michael Parish in Orland Park. The extremely large parish has something for everyone. Most people when they join a parish are looking to get connected in some way. Among the many ministries that St. Michael offers, the Men’s Club has stood out. On Monday, May 8th, Jim Makina, a representative and member of the Men’s Club presented St. Michael School with a $2000.00 donation! The principal, Mrs. Bernadette Cuttone, was yet again in awe of their generosity. For years, the St. Michael Men’s Club has made sizable donations to the school. They want to show their support for Catholic education. It is a wonderful way to bridge the parish and school together. The Men’s Club have great opportunities for the fathers of school children to meet and have fun in their group. Anyone is welcome to join at anytime. Joe Malinowski is the club president. He has set up a variety of activities for men 25 years old and up. Some of the activities include golfing, racquetball, and basketball. The racquetball league will start the spring doubles session in a few weeks. The golf league is on Wednesday’s at Silver Lake Country Club.
