Orland Park Restaurants Offer First Irish Music Trolley Event

Trolley to Transport Patrons Between 143rd Street Irish Eateries  

ORLAND PARK, IL – Four Orland Park eateries will offer simultaneous Irish entertainment with Orland Park’s first ever Irish Music Pub Trolley transporting patrons between the pubs.

The Irish Patriot, Paddy B’s, Fox’s Orland Park and Mackey’s Pub will all feature Irish music on Saturday, March 15 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Free trolley service will be provided between establishments.

“This is a great example of Orland Park businesses working together to create a nice, cultural event for the community,” said Orland Park Mayor Dan McLaughlin.

The Irish Music Pub Trolley will begin its route at the Irish Patriot at 4 p.m., stopping at Paddy B’s, Fox’s and then Mackey’s every ten minutes until 8:30 p.m.

At the Irish Patriot at 9875 West 143rd Street, the Identity Irish Dancers will perform at 4 p.m., followed by the Illinois Piper at 4:30 p.m. Kevin Molloy and Kevin Collins will take the stage at the Irish Patriot at 5:30 p.m. followed by Character Fleadh performing at 9 p.m.

Paddy B’s, at 11969 West 143rd Street, will present Matt and Chad performing from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. followed by McCarthy Road performing from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

“All of these restaurants are on 143rd Street so patrons can take the trolley from place to place to enjoy some great Irish entertainment --- music and dancing,” McLaughlin said.

Fox’s Orland Park, at 9655 West 143rd Street, will present the Shannon Rover Bagpipers at 6:30 p.m. with the Trinity Irish Dancers performing at 7:00 p.m.

Mackey’s Pub, at 9400 West 143rd Street, will have Brendan Laughrey performing from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

There is no charge to ride the trolley and reservations are not required. Further information is available by contacting any of the four participating eateries.
