Turn On Your Porch Lights for the National Night Out Against Crime

Add public safety education with an enjoyable summer night and you have the National Night Out Against Crime.

On Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. the Orland Park Police Department will host the annual National Night Out Against Crime at the Orland Park Civic Center, 14700 Ravinia Avenue.

The event, held by police departments across the country, is intended to combine the atmosphere of a summer fest with demonstrations of law enforcement, including the community beats, bike patrol, K9s, school resource officers and more.
